Why isn't the class "accredited" by American Heart Association or Red Cross?
It is important to understand that neither the American Heart Association nor the American Red Cross are government agencies and as such do not have the authority to "accredit" any other providers CPR courses. Temecula CPR's training meets and exceeds minimum requirements established by most States' licensing boards as well as standards recommended by the International Guidelines Conference on Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation and Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC), ILCOR, and OSHA. Temecula CPR's hands-on skills practice times are longer than that of both the American Heart Association and the American Red Cross providing participants more hands-on time with manikins and equipment to begin developing necessary muscle memory. We use the exact same training materials, we simply do not charge participants for the use of the AHA and ARC logos on course certification cards.
