If your organization or agency is like most, you're concerned about contacting OSHA's Consultation Program office for answers to questions for fear of generating unscheduled inspections or causing you more problems. Well, rest assured that OSHA Consultation Program offices are designed to assist employers in identifying hazards, ensuring compliance and addressing questions and concerns. Contacting the OSHA Consultation Program office in your area will not generate unscheduled inspections of your facility.
However, if you are still not convinced, you can take advantage of our Ask OSHA! program. Submit your question or concern to Askthesafetyman and we will repackage and submit your anonymous question to the OSHA Consultation Program office having jurisdiction for your area. Their response will be forwarded to you once we receive it. Your question(s) and OSHA's response(s) may also be posted on our OSHA FAQ page for others to review and learn from.
