Our instructors currently cover Temecula, Murrietta, Riverside, San Diego, Oceanside, Carlsbad, Vista, San Marcos, Escondido, La Jolla, Rancho Penesquitos, Encinitas, Fontana, Rialto, Miramar, San Clemente, San Bernardino, Los Angles and cities throughout Orange County.

Attendance Requirement:
Askthesafetyman has no minimum group training attendance requirement! We use a flat rate training program to provide a better value to our customers.
Participants are required to be in attendance and participate in the training to be eligible to receive a training certification card.

Payment Options:
Group training programs may be paid for via any of the following methods. Please note, group training payments must be received within 5 days of the scheduled training program. Group training coordinators are required to collect training fees for all participants and forward to the Askthesafetyman Sales Department for training programs that are not coordinated and paid for by a company or organization. We do not accept individual payments for group training participants.

Training Schedule:
Askthesafetyman provides hands-on CPR training for Adults, children and infants with Automatic External Defibrilator training. Training coordinators should block off 4 hours of time for participants to complete the hands-on portion of the training. Training coordinators are advised that factors such as the number of participants, questions and participant comprehension all affect the schedule which could cause the course to run beyound 4 hours. Instructors are well trained to keep courses on schedule, however, we cannot guaruntee courses will conclude on schedule.
Askthesafetyman instructors will provide each participant that successfully completes the hands-on training with a certificate to complete the First Aid portion of the training online, at their convenience. Online training must be completed within 14 days of completing the hands-on CPR / AED training. For participants that are only updating their CPR certification and have a current basic first aid certification card, the online training is optional.

Training Facility:
The group training coordinator is responsible for setting-up facilities that are adequate for training to be conducted. Group training is conducted at your site. Askthesafetyman instructors will require access to the training room / facility no less than 30 minutes prior to the scheduled start time and 45 minutes past the scheduled end time of the training program.

Audio Visual Requirements:
The group training coordinator is responsible for ensuring that a televion of suitable size for all training participants to view and DVD player are provided for use for the duration of the training program.

How long are certifications valid?
CPR certifications through Askthesafetyman are valid for one (1) year from the date of training. Basic first aid certifications are valid for three (3) years from the date of training. Automated external defibrillator (AED) certifications are valid for one (1) year from the date of training.
When will I receive my cards?
If your name was on the training registration form within 72 hours of the start of the scheduled training, you will receive your certification cards, upon successful completion of the CPR & AED hands-on training class. Names added to the registration after the 72 hour deadline will be printed and mailed within seven (7) days after successfully completing the hands-on course. Basic first aid training is completed online. Upon successfully completing the online training, you will be able to print a course completion certificate. A certification card will be mailed to you within seven (7) days of completing and passing the online training.
What if I can't stay for the entire class?
National certification standards require all course participants to attend the entire training program. If you are unable to stay for the entire training we will be unable to provide you with a course certification card. Please contact your group organizer for assistance.
What Should I wear?
If youare attending a CPR & AED certification course you should wear comfortable, losefitting clothing as you will be practicing skills on the ground. If you are unable to practice skills on the ground, please advise your instructor at the start of your course so that suitable accommodations can be made to meet your needs.
What if I'm sick?
If you are sick during the scheduled training date, please contact your instructor for assistance. You may be able to complete the entire training online or we may be able to schedule you to attend a different training course.
